Electronics Assembly Inspection - Training & Certification

IPC-A-610 is an Electronics Assembly Inspection standard in the electronics industry.  It is used as end-product acceptance criteria of PCB assemblies.  Many customers require the PCBs assembled with this criteria and indicate it in their contracts.  This is an individual certification.  Anyone responsible for the quality and reliability of electronic assemblies should consider becoming IPC-A-610 certified.  Having such a certified person on the manufacturing floor should guarantee quality and reliability of the PCB assembly and the soldering.
